“Thanks very much for what you’re doing: it really makes a difference to me. You’ve got a very nice way of blending challenge and support ...... today I find myself walking straighter, feeling more joined up, and generally can tell that I’m improving. “ - Mark Pettigrew
I started Pilates because I had started to get grumbling back pains which I attributed to dreadful general posture and also to sitting at a computer at work.
Within a few weeks of starting classes, these pains disappeared.  I also started to get comments from friends about my improved posture.”
   - Lucy Brook

When I broke my back 5 years ago everyone said that I should try Pilates.
Pippa has been amazing at talking through the different movements and explaining their purpose. She is aware of how my injury may limit certain movements and tailors exercises for me so that I can still get the benefits without putting too much stress on my injury."

" I started pilates with Caroline after experiencing quite severe lower back pain. The sessions really helped me to overcome this problem and I believe have been a significant factor in preventing it from reoccurring.
I'm a regular road cyclist and have found that since taking up pilates I feel more comfortable on long rides which I put down to improved core strength and better posture. "

About Ann
“ I am really enjoying the Pilates sessions. I am definitely feeling the benefits, particularly helping with posture and neck and shoulder tension. The pace of teaching is just right and the exercises broken down to achievable starting points for me. I find the teaching demonstrations and explanations are very good with simple tips to help me achieve the correct movements. I have been amused by my lack of coordination(!) but now feel that this has improved as I really focus on what I am trying to get my body to do. ”

Joan Drew -  recent convert to Pilates.
