“As a keen competitive horse rider, I wanted to improve my riding skills. Ann Chester has helped enormously not only because all the exercises help to build core strength which is essential for good horsemanship, but Ann has focused on exercises specifically to address some of the weaknesses I was experiencing when riding a horse.
Fabulous!” - Sarah Clark
I started attending Chris Fraser's Gentle Pilates class for the over 60s after a couple of bad falls. Over the years I have been working with Chris, my pain is now considerably less and I feel my balance and stability have benefitted. Chris is unfailingly cheerful, encouraging and willing to adapt exercises to suit people with different physical problems."
- Jenny Coleman

I started Pilates with Pippa to assist my recovery from a prolapsed disc in my lower back and from the outset the advice and support I received helped  me to build my confidence. Not only have Pippa’s classes had a noticeable impact on my back health but they also really help me switch off from outside stresses, so have the added benefit of being great for my mental wellbeing too."

"One of the best things about Caroline's classes is the variety. No two classes are ever the same so are always interesting. For a whole hour each week my mind is totally absorbed by thinking about my body, my breathing, my muscles and posture. Every other thought, worry or plan is shelved for that hour and the result is refreshing! Thank you Caroline.

“ I am really enjoying the Pilates sessions. I am definitely feeling the benefits, particularly helping with posture and neck and shoulder tension. The pace of teaching is just right and the exercises broken down to achievable starting points for me. I find the teaching demonstrations and explanations are very good with simple tips to help me achieve the correct movements. I have been amused by my lack of coordination(!) but now feel that this has improved as I really focus on what I am trying to get my body to do. ”

Joan Drew -  recent convert to Pilates.
